About 2 years ago now I was in Paris and of course I made a visit to one of the famous French pharmacies that cannot be missed. There was alot of hype around the Nuxe Reve de Miel lipbalm at the time but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to part myself with that much money for this pot so instead I bought the stick version of it. I used it almost immediately after purchase, excited to see what all the fuss was about but to tell the truth I was disappointed, majorly. I found that with the thin layer the stick distributed it was almost drying and the product would wipe off rather than sink into the lips. So it was promptly put to the back of the books and I honestly couldn't tell you where it is now.
So when I was in France earlier this year in the Summer and came across a Nuxe stand I was intrigued as to whether I had been misled. In a case of thoughtlessness I purchased it and was walking out of the supermarket (yes, they sell their skincare in the supermarket. Yet another reason to be jealous of the French). It has only been since it's gotten cold that I have been fully able to appreciate this lipbalm, I find through the warmer months I often forgo lipbalm. An apology is in order as I have now realised the full potential of this little pot. On application right before bed or under a lipstick throughout the day it provides excellent moisture and a base for other lip products. I finally get the hype.
